This hotel offers great value for money with affordable prices. The attention to detail is evident, especially in the well-stocked kitchen in the rooms. The location is absolutely perfect, right on the beach in a great area. The staff is friendly and provides good service.
All in all, our stay at this hotel was just fine.

Everyone was very friendly from the staff to the guests.
Needed more snack options in the office.

Close to the beach, but suggest the Cedar Glen Lodge instead
The Tahoe Sands charged us $30 more for our tiny studio room than my sister's much larger studio for the same night and location. They pre-authorized our credit card for the price of the room, then put through a second charge on the card 2 minutes later for the full price of the room. Their pre-authorization held our funds for several days after we had already paid in full and checked out. When I called and faxed them proof from our bank of the "double charging" they claimed they "never" put holds on accounts and refused to release the additional charge. Their front office staff was unprofessional in the manner they handled the overcharging situation and then became extremely belligerent and argumentative after I faxed the proof of their mistake. The mattress was soft and uncomfortable, and the toilet did not work properly. Needless to say we DO NOT recommend this place and will never stay there again.

We found a quiet area in heaven, mere steps away from the lake, which was a great area for us , a perfect spot. Plus, right on the beach for easy use, with comfortable beach chairs and well, maintained lawn areas for picnic or relaxation. the staff was friendly, and the mountainside accommodation has a beautiful view of the lake and a private beach.
The rooms are a bit outdated and cramped with poor housekeeping services, and the stay was not worthwhile, leaving a bad taste in our mouth.

The Resort is split by the main road and even though our accommodation was on the opposite side of the road to the Lake it wasn't a problem as the Lake/beach was easily accessible. Our room was clean and quiet with all the facilities we required. There was parking right outside our unit. The ceiling fan was sufficient to keep us cool in July.

I thought the place had charm, it was also right on the Lake. You couldn't beat the location and the price was reasonable for what you get.
The room was a bit small.

Amazing location on Lake Tahoe. Easy access to attractions. Beautiful beach steps away from condo. Clean and well-equipped kitchen. Clean bathrooms. Playground and beach area for kids. Near restaurants and grocery store. Accommodating staff.
Can't think of anything.

Room says it can sleep 4, can only happen if you rearrange furniture to allow room for sofa bed to be pulled out. Other than that, great location, nice room. Will definitely stay again, even with our 3 kids.

It was like a small cabin. The cabins next to it were a little scary. Thery were run down with junk in front of them.

The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and fully functional. The beach area and playground nearby were great for the kids. The location was near good restaurants and grocery stores. Plus, the view was terrific from our room.
The accommodation was overpriced and lacked the amenities promised. The place was noisy and the surroundings were frustrating.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The location by the dazzling lake is unbeatable and I loved having a private beach to relax on. The staff was incredibly friendly and courteous. The room was clean and well-stocked with everything I needed to cook in the kitchen. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near stores and restaurants.
Absolutely nothing.

Beachfront Rooms + Great View the room was right on the beachfront with a great view of the lake and the mountains. the location is perfect for romantic walks along the shore, watching the sunset, and stargazing at night.
Old and Dirty the room was very old and the carpets were dirty. the bathroom was tiny and outdated with rusted fixtures.
